Sydne R. Cunningham is an associate in the New Orleans office of Roedel Parsons. She is part of the general litigation group with a focus on asbestos litigation, insurance defense, and insurance coverage
Sydne was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended Louisiana State University where she majored in Sports Administration with a minor in Business Administration. Sydne later went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School graduating in 2020. While in law school, she served as an Honor Board Justice from 2017-2020. Sydne was elected as the Treasurer for the Black Law Student Association for the 2018-2019 year. Sydne also served as a senior member for the Tulane Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. During law school, Sydne externed at the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana under the supervision of the Honorable Judge Brian A. Jackson. Sydne was also a law clerk for a local personal injury firm where she primarily assisted with Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability claims.
In her free time, Sydne enjoys going out to eat, watching the Saints, and working on puzzles.
