JENNIFER F. LEWIS was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. After attending Mount Carmel Academy, she received her Bachelor of Liberal Arts Degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University. She continued her education at LSU Paul M. Hebert Law School where she graduated with a J.D./B.C.L. in 2008. Ms. Lewis was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2008.

Following law school, Ms. Lewis went directly into practicing in the area of workers' compensation, and has retained this specialty throughout her career. She has appeared in front of 9 out of the 10 Louisiana workers' compensation district courts statewide, and during her career she has successfully defended the interests of hundreds of insurers, self-insured funds, and individual employers. On the inner workings of the Louisiana workers' compensation system, she has participated in the education/training of insurance claims adjusters in multiple states. She has also acted as co-speaker at the annual LABI Workers' Compensation Seminar providing jurisprudential updates in the Worker's Compensation field.

Ms. Lewis is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association and the New Orleans Bar Association. In 2013, she was named to the list of Rising Stars by Louisiana Super Lawyers Magazine.
