C.J. Blache is a native of New Orleans and for over 30 years the focus of his practice has been in the area of governmental relations and regulatory law at the state and local level. He has been active in every session of the Louisiana Legislature since 1980 and is recognized as a keen strategist and consensus builder. His clients are exceptionally diverse and include a multitude of public and quasi-public entities and some of the largest corporations in the petro-chemical industry, transportation, maritime, and business arena.

He has done extensive work with clients such as Transdev, The Port of New Orleans, the New Orleans Aviation Board, Chevron, Reynolds American, Incorporated, and the New Orleans Business Council.

Prior to private practice, he served as Assistant Secretary of Labor over Employment Security, Louisiana Department of Labor and Chief legal counsel to the Louisiana House Labor Committee.

CJ is very active in multiple civic, business and non-profit entities and presently serves on the boards of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry (LABI), Liberty Bank and Trust, The Jazz and Heritage Foundation, River City Jazz Coalition and WWOZ radio.
