David is a native of New Orleans. He earned a B.A. in English from Sewanee and his J.D. from LSU. Between the two, he taught English in Japan, managed a touring rock n' roll band (waiting a few tables to keep the dream alive), and worked as a journalist. After law school, he clerked for the late James J. Brady in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana, where he got to see a great man enjoy coming to work every day. At Roedel Parsons, David is a key part of the team that serves as general counsel for the Ernest N. Morial New Orleans Exhibition Hall Authority Board of Commissioners. David also works on public bid disputes-on behalf of public entities as well as private parties-public records disputes, as well as general litigation matters. He likes to work with clients to resolve issues in a manner that best serves the client's short- and long- term goals.
