With great respect and gratitude for her service here, our firm announces the retirement of Gayle Thomasson Busch effective July 31, 2018. Gayle joined our firm 21 years ago following her successful tenure at the Louisiana Public Service Commission. Gayle also served our country for 11 years as a Commander in the United States Naval Reserve Judge Advocates General Corps. She has been a team leader in our Administrative Law–Regulatory Section, which she helped strengthen and expand, by handling complex cases in the administrative arena and then litigating when necessary. Gayle was a key member of our expropriation team that led to the LSU and VA Medical Center Project becoming a reality in New Orleans. Beyond professional accolades, our firm was blessed to see her sons grow up, 3 of whom now hold positions of military responsibility, thus following in their mom’s patriotic footsteps. She has set a worthy example for the firm, for her family and for the clients whom she represented. Well Done Partner! We wish Gayle the absolute best in her next phase of life.
